Mō mātou- About Connetics
With our head office based in Christchurch and another depot in Cromwell and Tawa, we’re responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations. Providing such a critical service is no easy task and we know that to be the best, our people need to be connected, safe, and involved.
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi- About the role
Working collaboratively with the Southern Regional Team to deliver fit for purpose, timely and accurate tender responses and quotations that supports Connetics’ business strategy and contractual obligations. Visiting sites and collaborate with all stakeholders to determine the best value and safest methodology to fulfil customer expectations. This may include capturing site visits, photos and live versus de-energised assessments. The Estimator will lead Connetics approach to release checking as outlined in applicable procedures for the region.
This role is based at our Cromwell depot.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako-Skills /Experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an operations (front-line) role within the distribution electrical supply industry
- Minimum NZQA Level 4
- Proven experience planning and scheduling resources in a complex environment
- Demonstrable experience in NZS3910, 3915 or NEC contracts or demonstrate a desire to up skill
- Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Current and valid driver’s licence.

Pre-Employment Tests | Medical & Ministry of Justice
