About the role
Leading a team of talented professionals, you’ll ensure the safe and effective delivery of substation works while exceeding customer needs. Driving continuous improvement and development of your team, you’ll promote problem solving, experimenting, broad thinking and a growth mindset.
Managing relationships and proactive communication is core to the role and seamless provision of high-quality end to end project management. You’ll ensure close coordination with our clients, all substation work, Service Delivery Partners, the wider PMO, and other key delivery partners within Connetics.
We have recently created a PMO, which is focused on project delivery and you will have the opportunity to influence the ongoing shape of how we do that.
You will also be expected to project manage some work as part of your role so that you know what your team are experiencing and keeping your hand in.
It goes without saying you’re an experienced people leader with wisdom and experience to share in the project/ contract management space and our industry sector. Importantly you are a talented communicator and relationship builder that can get the best from your team, peers and delivery partners.
You’ll be known for your strong focus on continuous improvement and driving efficiency while surpassing customer expectations. Importantly, you are able to juggle all the delivery variables while also ensuring the retention, growth and development of your team.
Ideally, you will have sufficient knowledge and experience in our sector to ensure you can support the team with technical expertise when needed.
