With our head office based in Christchurch and other depots in Cromwell and Wellington, we’re responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations.
We are seeking applications from candidates who would like to be part of our 2023 Electrical Fitter Apprenticeship Programme.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a passion for learning and development, are highly motivated team players, aspire to be the best in their field and are committed to finishing their apprenticeship. When the programme is successfully completed apprentices will have a National Certificate in Electrical Supply Industry, Registration and a Practicing Licence as a Distribution Electrician. Skills, experience and qualifications required:
- Electrical Pre-Trade completed (or equivalent)
- Minimum of Year 11 Maths and English
- The ability to read and interpret instructions and plans
- Current and valid driver’s license
- An understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
Pre-employment tests - Medical and Ministry of Justice
Connetics require all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, a pre-employment medical test which includes a drug and alcohol test.
